Face to face appointments at our Belfast clinic
The Autism Service has been delivering autism and ADHD assessments for both children and adults since 2019.
With over 20,000 people living with autism across Northern Ireland, we recognised the need to supply face-to-face appointments at more locations. Waiting months for an autism or ADHD diagnosis can be stressful and opening our Belfast clinic means private assessments are now more readily available across Northern Ireland.
In 2025, The Autism Service will launch its first clinic in Northern Ireland; in Belfast. In doing so, we increase our capacity to service all nations of the UK. Initially, we will be providing autism assessments only, although these will be available for both children and adults.
Our clinicians deliver fast, accurate diagnostic assessments to identify whether an individual has autism.

How to find us
Our Belfast clinic is located 20 minutes outside of Belfast in the lovely city of Lisburn. Located on Bridge Street, just off the main square. On-street parking is available and the clinic is a short walk from Lisburn Square underground car park and Quay Street car park.

The clinic is located on Bridge Street, which is just off the main square in Lisburn.
There is no onsite parking but there is plenty of on-street parking available, as well as public car parks at Lisburn Square and Quay Street; both of which are only a short walk from the clinic.
No, the clinic is not wheelchair accessible. If you make a booking at the clinic, please contact our friendly team who will make the necessary arrangements when booking an appointment with us.
Although NHS waiting lists can be multiple years, there is currently no waiting list at our Belfast clinic. Please call us directly on +44 0300 303 0667 or submit a booking form above for full details. Please note, waiting times can vary throughout the year.
At our Belfast clinic, we currently offer autism assessments for both adults and children. If you require a ADHD or combined assessment, please enquire at one of our other clinics.
